Responsibilities:
The Executive Recruiter is a strategic talent acquisition partner responsible for leading the full-life cycle recruitment process for senior leadership roles at the Vice President level and above, as well as highly technical or niche positions that require specialized expertise. This role demands exceptional business acumen, discretion, and the ability to engage and influence high-level executives and subject matter experts. The Executive Recruiter will develop and execute sophisticated sourcing strategies, manage complex relationships with stakeholders, and represent the brand at the highest professional standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead executive-level and highly technical searches from intake through offer acceptance, ensuring a best-in-class candidate and hiring manager experience.
* Customize the recruitment process to align with the specific needs of each client.
* Partner directly with senior executives, business leaders, and technical leaders to define hiring needs, assess organizational structure, and develop recruitment strategies aligned with business goals.
* Proactively identify, engage, and build relationships with top-tier executive and technical talent through targeted sourcing, industry networking, and strategic research.
* Source their own candidates and build a talent pipeline of executive and technical candidates for current and future needs.
* Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing market intelligence, competitive compensation insights, and guidance on talent acquisition best practices.
* Manage sensitive and confidential candidate and company information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
* Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments to evaluate leadership competencies, technical expertise, cultural fit, and potential for long-term impact.
* Negotiate complex compensation packages in alignment with market data and internal equity.
* Maintain an active network and talent pipeline of executive and technical candidates for current and future needs.
* Own the full recruitment life cycle, leveraging data and recruitment analytics to track search progress, measure success, and continuously improve recruitment strategies.
* Represent the company at industry events, executive roundtables, and high-profile networking opportunities to enhance employer brand visibility.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
* 8+ years of progressive recruiting experience, with at least 4 years focused on executive-level and highly technical hiring within corporate, retained search, or agency environments.
* Demonstrated success managing multiple complex searches simultaneously.
* Expertise in building and executing sophisticated sourcing strategies targeting senior leadership and specialized technical talent.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
* High degree of business acumen, strategic thinking, and market insight.
* Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
* Advanced proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM tools, and LinkedIn Recruiter; experience with iCIMS preferred.
* Strong understanding of executive and technical compensation structures, market trends, and industry benchmarks.
* Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, effectively managing competing priorities and a high-production workload while maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail.
